The following crimes were reported in Mt. Airy from October 25 to October 31, 2008.

THEFT FROM AUTO,ATTEMPTED AUTO THEFT
October 25: 1000 block West Upsal St. – Rear passenger’s side window of 2003 Volvo F90 broken. Nothing taken.
October 25: 1000 block West Hortter St. – Rear passenger’s side window of 2002 Blue Subaru Outback broken. Taken were Social Security card, driver’s license, credit cards, voters registration card, sunglasses, sleeping bags, camping gear and iPod transmitter.
October 25: 6500 block Wissahickon Ave. – Green 2007 Honda entered in unknown manner. Vehicle ransacked, nothing taken.
October 25: 6600 block Musgrave St. – Passenger’s side door and window pried open on vehicle. Kenwood CD player taken.
October 26: 600 block West Cliveden St. – Passenger’s side window of 2005 Accura broken. CDs taken.
October 26: East Washington Ln. and Clearview St., 1 p.m. – While inside vehicle, complainant approached by offender who demanded her wallet. Offender then took wallet from front passenger’s seat. Offender fled with items going southbound on train tracks. Taken were leather wallet, AT&T cell phone, IDs and credit card.
October 26: 600 block West Upsal St. – Vent window of 2004 Toyota Camry broken. Taken was gift containing puzzles.
October 26: 6400 block Wayne Ave. – Rear driver’s side window of 2006 Honda CRV broken. Taken was camera.
October 26: 400 block East Phil Ellena St. – 2002 Dodge Ram entered in  unknown manner. Taken were DVD player, Dell laptop.
October 26: 7000 block McCallum St. – 2001 Honda Accord left unlocked. Vehicle registration taken.
October 28: East Mt. Airy Ave. and Ardleigh St. – Complainant stated that vehicle, which had broken lock prior to incident, was entered. Taken was Dell laptop.
October 29: 600 block East Upsal St. – 1990 Chevy Lumina entered. Taken were speakers and heavy duty jacket.
October 29: 6600 block Chew Ave. – 2001 Cadillac left unlocked. Taken were GPS system, pallbearer gloves and five umbrellas.

STOLEN AUTO
October 26: Unit block West Pomona St. – Gray 1990 Chevy Suburban stolen.
October 26: 6700 block Germantown Ave. – Complainant stated that acquaintance took 1994 Buick Century without permission.
October 31: 300 block Duval St. – Brown 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass stolen.

BURGLARY
October 28: 100 block West Upsal St. – Complainant returned home to find that enclosed porch had been entered. Slide chain and screen door were broken and electrical items were taken.
October 30: 6800 block Crittenden St. – Complainant returned home to find that cash and various jewelry items had been taken. Others were given access to location.
October 30: 6300 block Chew Ave., 12 a.m. – Acquaintance allegedly kicked in rear of complainant’s  apartment and began to punch and slap her. Alleged offender was standing in the rear doorway when police arrived. Suspect arrested.
October 31: 200 block East Upsal St., 8:30 p.m. – Complainant  came home to find two offenders in his home on the second floor.

THEFT
October 26: 6800 block Cresheim Rd., 7:10 p.m. – Complainant stated that family member’s bike taken from location.
October 28: Unit block East Mt. Airy Ave., 2 p.m. – Offender entered store and left without paying for 10 keychain necklaces.
October 29: 6500 block Ross St. – Acquaintance allegedly called complainant and claimed to have taken items from complainant’s house. Taken were Wii game consol, controllers, Dell laptop and phone chargers.

ROBBERY
October 25: 1300 block East Johnson St., 10:30 p.m. – Three offenders entered apartment and demanded belongings from complainant, family members. Offenders fled with T-mobile cell phone.
October 25: 1300 block East Johnson St., 10:40 p.m. – Complainant flagged police down and stated that offenders inside vehicle directly in front of officers had robbed him. Offenders fled from vehicle in three separate directions. Two suspects  arrested. Black semi-automatic handgun recovered from the scene. Complainant’s wallet and cell phone not recovered.
October 26: 300 block East Durham St., 10:15 a.m. – Complainant approached by two offenders who pointed a gun at him and demanded money. Nothing taken.
October 26: 6400 block Germantown Ave., 9:30 a.m. – While exiting her vehicle, complainant  approached by offender who told her to get back into vehicle. Complainant did not comply. Offender continued to make demands to which complainant continued not to comply. Offender then grabbed complainant’s blue handbag from her forearm, injuring her wrist. Offender fled in unknown direction.
October 28: 6800 block Ardleigh St., 9:30 p.m. – Complainant and witness stated that offenders approached, pointed  shiny handgun at them, demanded money. Offenders fled northbound on Ardleigh St. with bankcards, ID, cash and cell phone.
October 28: 6500 block Greene St., 4 p.m. – Offenders entered location with sawed-off shotgun and demanded money from employees. Cash taken. Offenders fled.
October 28: 7300 block Devon St., 6:20 p.m. – Offender approached complainant from behind, pushed him into hallway of apartment building and took cash.
October 31: 100 block Roumfort Rd., 9:55 p.m. – Complainant approached by offenders while exiting vehicle. Offenders pointed chrome handgun at him, demanded that he get on ground. First offender stood behind him pointing gun while second offender went through his pockets. Offenders fled eastbound on Roumfort Rd. toward train tracks.
October 30: Gowen Ave. and Sprague St., 1:15 a.m. – Two offenders approached complainant  with gold color revolver and demanded money. Complainant gave offenders his wallet. Offenders fled down Sprague St. Complainant recovered his wallet in the bushes. Cash taken.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
October 27: East Upsal St. and Chew Ave., 6 p.m. – Complainant stated that a group of offenders attacked him. Offenders kicked and punched him on the left side of his face and shot him in the left eye with a pellet gun.
October 28: 6600 block Chew Ave., 10 p.m. – Complainant stated that he was walking to the store when offenders approached him. First offender asked “remember me?” at which point offender took out a knife and stabbed complainant in the left arm. Complainant drove himself to hospital.
