Two Town Watch members ("off duty" and not patrolling) encountered a man at Ellet and Green at 7:30 PM. The man was extremely drunk and making racial slurs. The man was white, mid 40s, 5' 8", 190 pounds, receding hair line with short cropped hair, very bad teeth, small eyes wearing a red sweatshirt, jeans, gold plated watch and black sneakers. He stated he had just attended a "detox" meeting and was trying to find a way home. He stated his home was in Abbington, then the Florida Keys. He said he was trying to get out of here and was thinking of stealing a car or find a bus. He was directed to the bus stop and was observed getting on the H bus. The Town Watch members called 911 with a description, the number of the bus and it's direction.
Though it may not be related, two weeks prior some teenagers encountered a drunk white man at the corner of Carpenter and McAllum. If anyone has information on why drunk white males might have "business" in our neighborhood, please click Contact (to the right under "Menu") and let us know.
