Tonight, Monday, December 3rd, at about 7:45 my neighbor's late teen son was walking by the Henry School. He noticed an old white Oldsmobile sedan, late 70s or early 80s model, parked by the dumpsters. He made eye contact with the two occupants of the car, two late teen or early 20's African American males, dressed in "gangster" (his words please) attire. He said that when he made eye contact he did not have a good feeling. He walked to a spot where he could see the car, but they could not see him. The car remained there for 15 minutes. When he left his observing position, the car immediately started up and followed him as he walked up Greene. He decided to run, ducked into an alley and eventually made his way home. A call to 911 was made and the 911 operator said that it indeed sounded suspicious and were sending patrol cars to check the area.

Please, if you see a similar car, do not confront or accuse. If you can get a description (tag #) safely, that would be great. Click Contact located on the right side of this page to report the tag # and we'll pass it on. Of course, if you notice suspicious activity (the narrative above is a good example), then please call 911.

Also, there have been numerous observations of potential drug dealing at the school off hours, but rarely if ever are these incidents called in to 911, the school principal, school security (215-400-6000), Town Watch or other resources just waiting to help us if we make the call. School Security was also called tonight, but they thought the police response was sufficient.
