THEFT FROM AUTO, ATTEMPTED AUTO THEFT August 12: 900 block East Johnson St. – Front driver’s side window of 2006 Mercedes R350 broken. Taken were iPod integration system, Sony Vaio laptop and CDs. August 14: 7100 block Chew Ave. – License plate removed from 2004 Chevy. August 14: 6600 block Musgrave St. – 2003 Nissan entered. Vehicle door damaged. Taken were Bose car radio and Bose subwoofers. August 15: 6500 block Musgrave St. – Front passenger’s side door handle of 2002 Nissan Altima broken. Latch to open vehicle broken. Damage was done to passenger’s side door and trunk. Taken were key, football equipment and CDs. August 15: 600 block West Cliveden St. – Front passenger’s side window of Honda Accord broken. Taken were laptop, CDs and airbag. August 16: 6700 block Crittenden St., 4:52 a.m. – Complainant stated that two offenders took items from his 1991 Chevy Blazer and fled southbound on Crittenden St. in a Chevy Impala. Taken were DVD radio and eqiualizer. STOLEN AUTO August 11: 400 block East Gorgas Ln. – Green 1994 Nissan Maxima stolen. August 14: 7100 block Anderson St. – Red 2007 Toyota Rav 4 stolen. August 16: 7100 block Boyer St. – Tan 1993 Toyota Corolla stolen. BURGLARY August 11: 6600 block Ardleigh St. – Complainant returned home to find handgun stolen. August 12: 7300 block Stenton Ave. – Complainant stated that unknown person attempted to pry cabinet door open. No entry gained, nothing taken. August 14: 7000 block Emlen St. – Complainant stated that Dewalt saw was taken from unlocked garage. August 14: 600 block West Chelten Ave. – Complainant returned home to find apartment door unlocked, location ransacked. Taken were Sprint cell phone and gold tennis bracelet with diamonds. August 14: 600 block West Johnson St. – Complainant returned to location to find entry had been gained in unspecified manner. Taken were Samsung TV with remote. August 15: 100 block West Hortter St. – Complainaint stated that offender attempted to enter location through unlocked window. TV damaged but nothing taken. August 16: 200 block East Cliveden St. – Complainant stated that unknown offender took cash from location. No signs of forced entry. THEFT August 11: 7600 block Germantown Ave. – Complainant stated that his bike was stolen from location and recovered 10 minutes later. Policed surveyed the area looking for offender with no results. August 12: 100 block West Upsal St. – Complainant stated that itmes were taken from yard. Taken were 10-ft. cyclone fence, two hand trucks, wheelbarrow, sheet metal, 40-ft. copper gutter, metal table, lawn chairs and metal sinks. August 15: Unit block West Allens Ln. – Complainant stated that package delivered by FedEX was signed by acquaintance and left in front of house. When complainant came home, package was missing. Taken was Verizon cell phone. August 16: 100 block East Durham St. – Metal ladder taken from complainant’s yard. ROBBERY August 11: Unit block East Johnson St., 9:34 p.m. – Complainant stated that offender approached him, ordered him to lay on ground, robbed him at gun point. Offender fled westbound on Johnson St. Taken were cell phone, black leather wallet with cards and cash. August 14: Unit block West Washington Ln., 7 p.m. – Complainant stated that offender was painting at his house, offender allegedly pulled out a pocket knife, took cash from complainant’s dresser and fled. AGGRAVATED ASSAULT None reported this time period.
